Driver and Passenger Debates Over 500 Peso Bill

Have you ever encountered a taxi driver getting mad of you not giving out the expected fare payment of what you owe in a taxi meter?

This has been a common issue I guess anywhere we go and I in my end have been just too lenient not to report them for doing such. But why does this story never ends?

Mark Buraga rode a taxi named "Red Angelo" with a plate no of UVU 627. Like an ordinary day as it seemed and he was headed to his destination as instructed to the driver. Reaching his destination since his ready money was only a denomination of 1,000 peso bill, 500 peso bill and 100 peso bill, he could not give the amount as asked of him so provided the 500 peso bill instead. To his surprise this was the start of a heated conversation with the driver.

He was told that he doesn't have a change. They both ended up in a gasoline station wherein the driver was able to manage the money bills broken and Buraga was provided his change but of course it has increased the amount he was supposed to be billed. Instead of arguing more Buraga instead just went our of the taxi as the driver didn't want to return him to his supposed to be destination.

He filed a complaint against the driver. LTFRB though says that it is a duty of the drivers to have a ready change.

No feedback yet given from the taxi operator of which was Villegas taxi as checked by LTFRB.
