GMA News reported the said incident and it was found out that after being able to take the deworming a lot of students after about 30 minutes felt pain in the stomach, headache, dizziness and vomited. No exact datas have been showing yet on why the sudden outbreak especially coming from a trusted government institution like Department of Health.

Some worrisome happening also extends of having the pupils rushed to covered courts instead of hospitals. Which added the anger of parents whose intention was to believe and understand the good intentions sought after by DOH.

A City health officer also explained that such effects shown in students are mere reflection of the deworming process that is happening in their body. says, Noel Ceniza.

I think that this is a neglect coming from those that are assigned to look after the interest of the people they are serving especially to local City Health of which they should have been careful, extra careful since we are talking about child's safety. I know this is not a result of taking the deworming tablet if it wasn't expired because I have once enrolled my child in the public school and she had taken this and nothing significant happened.

Pagadian City rushed about 25 children to hospital. 69 came from Pinan. 2 from Libertad. It is known to have the most 200 students affected.

Deworming is a project for children ages 5 to 12 years old with worm infections. With the hope of decreasing the low performance level of students due to this.
