I have known Jodi Sta. Maria for quite awhile but was fond of her in Gimik days along with Judy Ann Santos. But there is just something about Jodi that you can't get enough of.
She looks so fresh, bubbly and fun to be with. Though her limelight had gone since she boarded the life of being a mother and a wife. Even if her life did not end in a happy ending but still I am happy to have seen her again rebuilding her lost career as well as seeing her gorgeous smile.
The new TV series that ABS-CBN brought to us and was aired last July 9, 2012 was a step closer to seeing such a grown woman inside and out. The serye is called "Please be careful with my heart".
Thus the line seem familiar to you? Yes,indeed it is a line from the song of Jose Mari Chan but this time you get to hear a version of Jodi and her co star Richard Yap.

The story revolves around a very simple girl named Maya De La Rosa played by Jodi Sta. Maria whose ambition in life is to help her family by becoming a flight stewardess. But a twist of fate landed her to meet a very handsome widower Richard Lim acted by Richard Yap.
Maya agreed on being a helper at the mansion of Richard Lim for the sake of her ambition as he will be able to greatly help her achieve her goals since he has a lot of connections in the airline industry. But as she get to know his family she was not prepared to be a part of the feud that is exiting in the family since the wife died breaking the children and Richard into pieces.
Being a simple minded yet bubbly Maya she will eventually be able to revive the closeness of the family and would later on fell in love with Richards kids and also with him.
This drama is seen before "It's Showtime" is aired. It is kind of funny and also it is exciting how my family and our neighbors starts to line up and watch TV because we can see again the fun and bubbly Jodi. For me this is indeed on great day time series by far and I congratulate everyone and most of all Ms. Jodi Sta.Maria for a splashing comeback!
