Pnoy Warns Medicine Company Of Unfair Pricing

Water are everywhere which is flood of just about every corner in Manila. From the main city to its provinces all we see for now is more than a knee level of Flood. It is but common that when rain comes, flood follows and most of the time a lot of diseases as well soars high and leptospirosis is one of them.

It was on local news at every TV station, in print or radio broadcasts that a certain company raised their drug for  leptospirosis which is usually being sold at a price of P10.00 only and now is amounting to as much as around P50 - 75 high.

This kind of disease is happens when the infected acquires Leptospira bacteria in rat urine which is very common in flooded areas.

This untoward news has reached the ears and knowledge of our dear President Noy and he was so speechless knowing this. He felt bad on how a company amidst a crisis experience by the country was able to do such a cruel thing to poor Juan.

With all the celebrities, government, broadcast stations even Hollywood stars help the nation may it be for relief goods, man power and prayers everyone was just so moving and Philippines is indeed very happy to have been cared and loved by many.

What this company have done is a contradiction of what others have done to make this easier for the affected.

As President Noy stated, ""Hindi ho makatao, hindi maka-Pilipino."

In his speech in Caloocan he further explained, "Hindi ho pwedeng pagsamantalahan ang Pilipino. Kung kakailanganin na mag-direct import po tayo nitong gamot na kailangan para ilagay sa tama ‘yung presyo at mawala ‘yung merkado niya, gagawin po natin ‘yan,"  continued with, "Sa ngayon nakikiusap muna ako dito sa kompanyang ito,” and ended his speech saying, “Kilala ka na namin, iimbestigahan ka na."

I hope we should always learn not to use what we have to make a simple Juan go weary and make him feel that there is nothing he can do to improve his health just because of companies if not people who are too greedy and uses situations like this to manipulate. We all have responsibilities and that should always be remembered no matter how we want to soar high even if others feel little of themselves.
