Happy 84th Birthday King Of Comedy Dolphy

The King of Comedy is celebrating his birthday today. He was born July 25, 1928 in Calle Padre Herrera which is  now called P. Herrera St. of Manila, Tondo.


The late Mang Dolphy whose parents are  Melencio E. Quizon and wife Salud V. Quizon is the second of ten siblings.


A lot of people showed there unending support of the "King of Comedy" as a lot of stars before hand that was yesterday had already greeted him through their twitter accounts and other social media outlets.


On the other hand Pidol's family remained silent yesterday until an information was given stating that they will hold a private get together for the family to commemorate Dolphy's 84th Birthday.


Epy Quizon though had opened about Pidol Golf Cup which will be to raise money to benefit Dolphy Aid Para sa Pinoy Foundation which is from Tondo.

The Comedy King Dolphy's Burial

The passing of the Comedy King "Tito Dolphy", "Mang Dolphy", "Daddy Dolphy" or Dolphy alone is a very tragic part of history now and will be forever remembered.

His necrological service was a very heart warming event made possible by Him as well Dolphy, why? Because Mr. Dolphy Quizon is a man of humility, care, compassion towards other in need and he never say no if there is something he can do about it.

His remains which was brought in ABS CBN in his Dolphy Theatre fills an important meaning to each and everyone of us. Artists in all walks of life gathered and mourn for him. Though in the midst of it all it is as well the time in which the whole nation will get to see a saddened wife, a pained companion. Zsa Zsa Padilla had been strong for him for their 23 years of being together and now people would bear witnessed on how this woman loved the so called Mang Dolphy with all her heart.

10:00 am -   Heritage Chapel Mass
12:00 noon- Taken out Heritage Chapel
2:00 pm  -    Mortuary Release
