The news that everyone especially in the news department of all media outlet has finally been revealed. President PNoy finally announced who is his bet for the upcoming 2016 presidential election that he sees will be able to continue the legacy he started especially with the corruption that is on an unending list to almost all government offices.
The Liberal Party in lined with Pnoy finally of the presidents blessing endorsed Mar Roxas as his bet as the next top leader of the Philippines. The LP party showed support on the day of the announcement at Club Filipino, San Juan City dated July 31, 2015.
Various leaders came from Gov. Joey Salceda, Sen. Ralph Recto, Former Mayor Alfredo Lim and more along with TV personalities like wife of Mar Roxas, Korina Sanchez, Jessa Zaragoza, Mother Lily Monteverdeto name a few.
A lot of reactions spread as this announcement came about like that of VP Binay stating, "Lalong magiging mailap ang maginhawang buhay kung bibigyan pa ng anim na taon ang isang administrasyong walang malasakit sa mahihirap,".
“It did not come to me as a surprise. Being a stalwart of the Liberal Party, we already expected President [Benigno] Aquino to endorse Secretary Mar Roxas,” says Jinggoy Estrada in an interview made in Sandigan Bayan of his plunder case.
