Farewell Comedy King Dolphy

Comedy King Dolphy as we all know him as confirmed last night died of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. He was only 83 years old and had left us in this world. As all the social media sites throughout Philippines and the whole world sent their kindest condolences to the late comedy.

Edu Manzano tweeted that "Heaven became a happier place today. The angels will be laughing together with our one and only King of Comedy. Rest in peace, friend."

Jose Javier Reyes as well in his twitter account sent a message stating:  “If there was one thing Dolphy taught us in the business, it is not only his perfect sense of timing. It is the greatness in his HUMILITY.”

A very touching and moving comment as well made by the mega star Sharon Cuneta saying “Rest in peace, my beloved Tito Dolphy. I will continue to do my best to follow the beautiful example you set for all of us, even when you didn't know it. I love you from the bottom of my heart. I miss you sooooo very much already. Showbiz has again lost one of its handful of truly talented and most decent members. You left us with so few who are like you. Your leaving has just made us all realize all the more how much we love you,”   in her tweet.

This are the kind of words you get to hear from people in all walks of life. That is not because we wanted to make his last memory be a  great one but because he himself as a man nor being the king of comedy that we knew of him but the simple, humble and down to earth Rodolfo Vera Quizon Sr aka "Mang Dolphy".

Dolphy's remains as reported will be at Heritage Memorial Park.
