Typhoon Hagupit Possible Enters PAR 8AM

Typhoon "Hagupit" is to enter Philippines Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Thursday (Dec.4) at 8am. PAGASA stated that they will have a clearer picture of the typhoon whose code name once it enters PAR is "Ruby" by tomorrow.

Ruby has a sustained wind of 140km/hour at the center and gustiness of 170km/hour. It is forecast a west northwest movement on a 30km/hour.

 PAGASA explained that there are scenarios they think would happen one of which is that it will curve going to the North and thus brings to the Bicol region and Visayas heavy rains.

 PAGASA warns though for possible landslides and to those at sea for storm surge.
